30 Ramadhan 1428H

As you can see, i changed my blog layout. Blog pun nk raya lah!

I downloaded Friday Khutbah for 12 Oct 2007. Let me share it with you. Basically, this week's messages are all about Building a community excellence.

  1. Ramadan has trained us to think well of others, to have patience in facing difficulties, to maintain good relationships with all mankind.
  2. Muslim ummah is a brother to another Muslim. We need to help the Muslim community improve and work towards excellence.
  3. The spirit of fellowship amongst mankind is based on al-Qist (justice) and al-Birr (goodness).

I read the Eidulfitri Sermon too. So if you are not able to go for Hari raya prayer, read it from the MUIS website. It's beneficial for us to know actually :)

Met Hana awhile and she passed me her kuih layang2 (kite2) after her UT. Specially made with love! Nice tau! I can't stop eating.

I guess when we grow older, the enthusiasm for Eidulfitri wasn't like what we used to be when we were much younger. I still remember the times when the elders were busy making Ketupat,cooking and cleaning, i was busy playing sparkler and firecrackers with my cousin/neighbour. We played till we got tired and all in sweat. Trust me! It was so fun!!

My grandparents will be busy making Ketupat outside my house in the wee hours of the morning. AHHH.. I miss those days. I miss my grandparents. alot.

It's 1am and I'm off too bed now. Will update again after i end all my remaining chores.
